The Basilica di Santa Croce is the principal Franciscan church situated in Florence and also a minor basilica of the Roman Catholic Church. This is also the burial place of some of the most illustrious Italians like Michelangelo. Foscolo and Marconi. The Basilica is also the largest Franciscan church in the world. One of the most notable features of this building is its sixteen chapels.
