The Palazzo Medici Riccardi was built for Cosimo Vecchio and this beautiful urban palace is situated in central part of Florence. This historic building rises almost seventy feet above the ground. There are string courses which separate the three stories and each story are progressively decreased in height. The surfaces too are smoother with less visible joints.
