Rating:

The Ponte Vecchio is a medieval bridge over the Arno River and is noted for shops built along it. The Butchers used to occupy the shops but the present tenants are jewelers, souvenir sellers and art dealers. This bridge has been considered as the oldest wholly stone in Europe with closed spandrel segmental arch bridge. The neighboring two bridges of this bridge are the Ponte all Grazia and Ponte Santa Trinita.
