Maria Maddalena was a member of the famous Florentine Pazzi family and was canonized in 1669. There are some historic buildings like the church of 13th century and the Benedictine convent, which was enlarged and is in the harmonious style. This historic building dates from 1493 and 1496. The landscape in the background is clearly native Umbria of Perugino.
