The original statue of Michelangelo David is located in the Galleria dell’Accademia in Florence. It is kept along with other vital works like the four prisoners. The statue of David used to stand in front of Palazzo Vecchio in Florence, but later, it was moved indoors. However, a copy of the statue is displayed in front of the palace. This statue portrays the ancient hero who killed the fierce opponent, Goliath by a simple slingshot.
