Piazza della Signoria is an L-shaped square which is situated in front of the Palazzo Vecchio in Florence. This square was named after the Palazzo della Signoria, which is called as Palazzo Vecchio. The square is the central point of origin and witness to the history of the Florentine Republic. Moreover, the square is the meeting place of the locals as well as the tourists.
