Montecatini Terme is known as spa town located in Tuscany in Italy. Earlier the town was occupied Republic of Lucca. There are many bath resorts in this place and during 20th century the place became famous for Spa in Italy. Although the town went through many hardships as there was a war led by Grand Duke of Tuscany and most of the baths buildings were destroyed. But in the 18th century again the baths resorts were built and soon it gained popularity. Being one of the best Spa places in Italy, Montecatini Terme draws nearly 2,000,000 tourists every year.
Most people preferred to visit this town to spend a luxurious vacation after a tiring and monotonous daily schedule. This place should be visited once in a lifetime. The climate of this place is very pleasant and suitable throughout the year. The population of Montecatini Terme according to 2001 census is 20,024.
