The Orto Botanico is a botanical garden situated in Pisa, Italy. It is managed by the University of Pisa. The garden contains a gallery of natural objects, a library as well as the portraits of its directors over the centuries.
It is also home to one of the initial iron-framed hothouses constructed in Italy. The garden has sections comprising of the botanical school, ponds, gardens, greenhouses and several buildings.
Other important features are the herb gardens and arboreta along with the old botany institute.
