This is a regional park situated at Cascine Vecchie which covers an area of 24,000 hectares. It was started on 13th December 1979 and includes a number of wetlands, sandy shores and dunes, fauna, woodlands and rural areas. There are several pinewoods and a great variety of animals found in this park. The sandy shores of the park stretch from Calambrone to Viareggio which is 23 km long.
