Tuscany is an amazing place in Italy well known for its beautiful landscapes and wines.  So, for those wanting to experience the grape harvesting season September and October are favorable time to visit the region.

The months of April and May along with October are also favorable months to visit Tuscany: the time of spring and autumn, with warm days and plenty of sunshine.  Spring is the beginning of a new life, with flowers everywhere, tourists from all corners of the world and warmer climate, a perfect time to explore the Pinocchio Park and the beaches.

Spring is the best time to see wild poppies galore, take a walk and chill out in the evenings. In Autumn, one can visit this region for several reasons as this is the precise time to taste fresh olive oil, chestnuts and attend events like the Florence Marathon.

However, winter is not that popular amongst tourists here, though one can still visit the museums, shop, visit the hot springs like Saturnia and get to drink red wine.  The month of February and March are good to visit the biggest carnival in Viareggio.  However, June, July and August tends to be the busiest of all months, also expensive and hottest time to travel in Tuscany.

Summer tends to be the season of sunflowers, beaches, open air music festivals, warm nights and long days. The month of July is the official summer sale month, where one can go shopping for clothing and leather goods often at up to half price.
