Pozzo Etrusco, better known as Etruscan Well, can be described as an atmospheric, damp, and dark well. At the same time, it’s also an unbelievable instance of stonemason’s art. Empires and cultures have faded away; but such a well-designed example of ‘hydraulic engineering’ would last forever.
