The Roman aqueducts were built from a mixture of brick, stone and special volcanic cement pozzuolana. The aqueducts are highly advanced Roman waterway system and the greatest achievements in the ancient world. The Romans constructed many aqueducts to serve cities and small towns along with industrial sites with water which is supplied by eleven aqueducts.
