This is one of the best Italian Café and was the largest one in Europe when it opened in 1831. This coffeehouse was badly damaged in the World War II; however it was later renovated in the original neoclassical style. The café has some of the most comfortable restrooms in Padua for visitors. It serves snacks such as grilled sandwiches and pastries along with a variety of drinks such as tea, cappuccino, prosecco or beer. There is live music in the evenings.
