Doge's Palace
The Doge’s palace is a Gothic palace situated in Venice and is called the Palazzo Ducale di Venezia. This palace was once the residence of the Doge of Venice. This historic building was also the seat of the Venice Government for centuries. It was the venue for its law courts, bureaucracy and for its civil administration. The Doge sat on many of the committees and played a big role in steering policy.
