Burano is a small island located in the Venetian lagoon and one has to take a vaporetto ride to reach the place. The place is located in the neighborhood of Venice at a 40 minutes ride and has a lacemaking past. The Venice's Fondamenta Nuove’s Vaporetto Lines 12 and 14 can take visitors to Burano which is known for its colorful houses which is one unique thing about the place.
