Lido is a neighborhood of Venice and is 11 kilometer of sandbar and home to almost 20,000 residents with Italian tourists in summer. The Venice Film Festival takes place in Lido every September. This beautiful island is home to 3 settlements, Lido, Malamocco, and Alberoni. The heart of the Island is the Gran Viale Santa Maria Elisabeth which is a wide street of 700 mile long and leads from the lagoon on one side to the sea on the other end.
