Piazza delle Erbe is a square which was once the ancient Roman forum. In medieval times, this square became a market square and at present it is still considered as the market square. This square is one of the most picturesque and historical city squares in Italy itself. It is located in between the Corso Porta Borsari and the Via Mazzini and is translated as the Square of Herbs. As per the name, one can find all sorts of herbs in the market place.
