The Cathedral of Vilnius is the main Roman Catholic Cathedral of Lithuania. It is located in Vilnius Old Town and is the heart of the Catholic spiritual life of Lithuania. At first glance, the cathedral appears as a Roman or a Greek temple. The local people are proud of its creation. The first ever church in Lithuania was built in late 1200s after King Mindaugas was baptized.
