The old town of Vilnius is one of the largest surviving medieval old towns in Northern Europe. It has an area of 3.59 square kilometers and has 70 streets and lanes. It is also the oldest part of the city and has developed over the course of centuries. This neighborhood has some of the greatest architectural style of buildings in Europe with renaissance, gothic, neoclassical and baroque style.

Uzupis is a beautiful neighborhood situated in Vilnius and is in Vilnius old town, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Uzupis means, “on the other side of the river” in Lithuania language. The name refers to the Vilnia River. This district has many attractions like art galleries, popular cafes and artist’s workshops too. This district also has its own national anthem, four flags and a bishop.
