Most dishes in the country are based on pork and potatoes with a strong influence of the German and central-European cuisine. Italian food holds an important place in the cuisine of Luxembourg.
There are very good varieties of white wine that one can get; Riesling, Pinot, Gris, Rivaner and Ebling are a few good ones. The country also has a number of breweries; thus, beer is available quite easily in Luxembourg.
