The Casemates du Bock is a part of the city’s old fortifications and is an excellent example of military architecture which spans many centuries. The old fortifications are also the only UNESCO World Heritage site in the country. This historic site is stunning when one looks at the surrounding valley and its historical background. While visiting Luxembourg, this is a must see historical site.
