Saint Julian: Attractions and more...
Saint Julian still bears some signs of a small Mediterranean fishing village. The town does not have any special attractions; it is a holiday spot for those who want to lounge during the day and party through the night. It is a popular nightspot for the locals as well.
Spinola Bay is the town’s main attraction. It is the more upmarket area of the town and great for a quiet stroll during the day and dinner at one of the chic restaurants by the night. Spinola Palace houses the National Gallery which exhibits art of many renowned masters and some local talent as well.
The Balluta Bay is characterised by the picturesque Balluta Square and the Cermelite Church; the Balluta Building built in the Art Nouveau style stands along the promenade lined with cafes and bars. Paceville is the busiest nightspot of the town with visitors and locals alike thronging the numerous pubs and bars here.
