The months of April–May and September–October are the best times to visit Monaco. June to August can be very hot and crowded. Car racing fans should visit the country either in January for the Monte Carlo Rally or May for the Grand Prix.

Rituals and ceremonies are held on occasions like Easter, Christmas and feast days of Saint Roman, Saint John and Saint Blaise. 19 November is celebrated as National Day.
