The Rembrandt House Museum is situated at Jodenbreestraat 4, 1011 NK in Amsterdam, Netherlands. The opening time is 10AM to 5PM and it is closed on January 1st (New Year’s Day).
It is dedicated to life and the work of Rembrandt. The museum features some of the most famous paintings of the artist such as Julius Civilis, Titus, The Night Watch and a Self-portrait.
A number of paintings from Rembrandt’s teacher, his pupils and other contemporaries are also displayed. Special exhibitions in the museum feature etching-work by Rembrandt and others as well as paint preparations.
Guided tours are available and one can book the place for business meetings, reception and even weddings.
Rembrandt Information Centre is located on the 5th floor, which provides an extensive source of information about everything related with Rembrandt. Several books, CD-ROMs are available for readymade reference.
