The Amsterdam Tulip Museum is situated at Prinsengracht 112, 1015 EA Amsterdam. It is open daily from 10AM to 6PM.
This one-of-a-kind museum aims to represent the fascinating and rich history of tulip bulbs as well as provide interesting information about the same.
Several exhibits in the museum offer interactive video-displays which depicts the journey of tulips from its natural wild origins up to its cultivation in the modern 21st-Century.
There is a specialty shop located in the premises known as “de Bollenmand”. It offers seasonal tulip bulbs, gifts, craft items and books. Spring planting bulbs are on available for sale from March to June while fall planting bulbs become available from September.
EU and USA visitors can order the bulbs in advance. Keukenhof is an eight-acre garden which is popular for its spring-flowering bulb. Good time to visit the park is during the last week of April.
