On a tight budget the cheapest time to visit Amsterdam is in the autumn and winter.  If you visit between October and March, the prices of accommodation is at its lowest, and the city offers many choices for a great time way cheap!

If you fancy  something  laidback and relaxed, check out Durty Nelly’s. This rustic Irish pub is also part hostel, so if you had one too many drinks you could always nab a bed for the night! Some of the perks of this pub include live music, relaxed atmosphere and live sports on the TV. Durty Nelly’s is located at Warmoesstraat 117, Amsterdam, 1012 JA.

To have something really special to eat and a dutch favourite at a low price try The Pancake Bakery, a pleasant spot where you can relax and unwind as you try a wide variety of sweet and savory pancakes.  All at attractive prices; large pancakes are charged around Euro 10 while children’s pancakes can be just under Euro 6! Is located at Prinsengracht 191, 1015 DS.  You can reach it by taking a stroll along the Canal Belt (look for it near the Anne Frank House).As for drinking time a rellay cool spot is Belushi’s Bar,this bustling sports bar is a fantastic stop-over point for those who love to mix and mingle! Offering drink, snacks and trendy music during the day as well as far into the wee hours of morning, this is definitely worth a visit. Belushi’s Bar is known for its funky street art theme and affordable drinks!  You'll find it Warmoesstraat 129, 1012 JA Amsterdam.
