Tourist Guide Arnhem:

Arnhem, located in the eastern part of Netherlands, is the main city of the province of Gelderland. This city of approximately 142,600 inhabitants is an environment friendly city with electric buses and many parks and green spaces.

The region enjoys a temperate climate with uniform rainfall throughout the year. The best time to visit is summer; July and August are the warmest months with the average temperature at 25°C.

Arnhem developed into a prosperous resort town 200 years ago owing to its picturesque setting. Several rich merchants made the town their home, earning it the title of the ‘Little Hague of the East’.

It is known as the ‘Green City on the Rhine’ as it is located along the River Rhine with dense forests as its backdrop.
