The museum of Beelden aan Zee is located in the dunes of Scheveningen. It was opened in 1994 by Theo and Lida Scholten. The museums focal point is the large collection of international contemporary and modern art. It is private museum which is supported by a group of volunteers and a must visit due to its location which gives it an impression of pearl in sand.
