This fort can be described as an excellent piece of art. It dates back to the seventeenth century. Art exhibitions get held in the summer season. This fort would give the visitors a fair idea regarding life of the people during the medieval period.
Grovane Old-Time Railroad
As road happens to run from Kristiansand towards the north. The way followed is between ‘Vennesla’ and ‘Grovane’. From Vennesla, a train has been drawn through an ancient steam locomotive (dating back to 1894). It operates only on Sundays along a 3 mile stretch of age-old ‘Setesdal railroad’.
International Church Music Festival
This festival; which lasts for about a week occurs in early days of May; that too with loads of diverse events. Chamber, orchestral, and choral music gets played in ‘Kristiansand Cathedral’ all through the festival.
