Munch Museum is situated at Tøyengate 53 N-0578 in Oslo and is open from 10 to 4 daily except on Mondays and 11 to 5 on the weekends.
The museum lies on the south side of the Botanic Garden in Oslo and has a wide collection of graphic art, paintings, watercolors, drawings and sculptures of the great Norwegian artist, Munch.
There are special exhibitions held to display particular facades of the artists work such as fantasies of life and death made by Munch and more. There are attached rooms for research and study and the inner courtyard has a sculpture by Naum Gabo.
The museum has a lecture hall, a library, storerooms, offices and a technical department for framing, photography and more. Concerts and events are held here from time to time.
