Originally the Vigeland Museum in Oslo was studio and home of the renowned sculptor Gustav Vigeland; the site was converted into a museum after his death. It now exhibits a beautiful collection of sculptures, drawings, and models of the artist.
The Vigeland Sculpture Park was opened by the sculptor himself in 1924. It is home to a spectacular fountain made up with straining bronze giants. Other items displayed here include a sculpture bridge and other figurative works by Vigeland that completely charm the visitors.
