Located in Gdansk’s Oliwa district, the Oliwa Archcathedral Church was built in dedication to the Holy Trinity, Blessed Virgin Mary and St. Bernard.  There are two slender towers that flank the outside of the church and is 17.7 meters high, 19 meters wide and 107 meters long, which makes it the longest Cistercian church in the world.  There’s also a rich collection of Renaissance, Baroque, Rococo and Classical style art found inside.

Oliwa Cathedral is located on ul. Biskupa Edmunda Nowickiego and is open daily from 9:00am to 5:00pm, Saturdays from 9:00am to 3:00pm and Sundays from 2:00pm to 5:00pm.  Admission is free unless there is a virtuoso organ performance (4.50 zloty for adults and 2.50 zloty for children).  For more information, contact +48 58 552 47 65.
