The Krakow Airport is located on the Balice outskirts of the city. Also known as John Paul II International Airport, this is an international airport near to Krakow in south of Poland. The airport opened for civil aviation in 1964. It is the second busiest airport in the country after Warsaw Frederic Chopin Airport. Further, it has good growth prospects as 8 million people that live within 100 kilometers of it. It has international terminal which handles separately passengers of Schengen and non Schengen flights.
