The Grand College or Collegium Maius is known to be the oldest university in Krakow and is 640 years old. In 1400, it got transferred to the corner of the Jagiellonska and Sw. Anny streets. This historic building houses ancient lecture rooms, professor’s quarters, communal halls, a library and also a treasury which consists of Jagiellonian globe.
