Auschwitz is a German name for Osweicim and is two hour minibus ride from Krakow and is a must visit place whilst in Krakow. Tours are provided to the tourists where they can also stay at the main administration camp. Here, children under 14 are not allowed to stay. There are a number of popular Krakow city tours; amongst them tours to Auschwitz is the most traveled tour. Most of the tours are done with sale of tickets rather than booking the tours in advance. Tours to Auschwitz leave twice a day from Krakow.
