The worldwide famous movie Schlinder’s List, directed by Steven Spielberg, was shooted in Kazimierz , the former Jewish district of Krakow.
Spielberg decided to shoot the film here as he decided to present the authentic settings in which the history had taken place: the aim was to present historical facts in details.
In our Tour we walk around Kazimierz to feel the atmosphere of the former Jewish town and to discover the settings of Schindler's List movie: Jozefa Street (the courtyard seen in the movie); New Square, meeting point of students and artists of Krakow; the Temple Synagogue, which served the modern Jews; Szeroka Street, which was the center of the former Jewish city; Helena Rubinstein’s birth place.
In Galicia Museum we will visit the photo exhibition which shows the life of the Jewish People in Poland.
Our movie tour continues with the visit of Schindler's Factory, where we will tell you the story of of Oskar Schindler and the story of the film.
