Krakow Walking Tour lets you discover the history of Krakow as the former capital of Poland.
We will walk through the medieval streets of these ancient city to observe the architectural style and listen to local legends. An important spot of the tour is the former Jewish Quarter, Kazimierz, which lets you discover customs and culture of Jewish people. This quarter keeps nowadays a magical atmosphere and it’s well known for having been the set of Schindler's List movie.
Our Walking Tour of Krakow starts from the Main Market Square, the largest medieval square in Europe.
Walking down St.Anna's Street we reach the University Quarter and its Collegium Maius, the oldest building of the University.
The next stop of our Walking Tour is Bishop’s Palace and the Franciscan Church, adorned with stained glass windows in the art nouveau style.
On Wawel Hill, we visit two beautiful monuments: Renaissance Royal Castle and the Cathedral with the royal tombs.
After the visit of Kazimiers, where we walk through Ciemna Street and Szeroka Street (typical Jewish streets, the heart of the Jewish Krakow) and admire the Remuh Synagogue and the Old Cemetery, we will return to the Main Market Square and visit St. Mary’s Basilica.
