Reviews Sopot
Sopot, or the Riviera of the North as it known by tourists, is the smallest of the three cities forming Trojmiasto (the other two are Gdansk and Gdynia) in north Poland. This seaside spa is located in Eastern Pomerania on the Baltic Sea’s southern coast.
The International Lech Walesa airport is located in nearby Gdansk, with the International Szczecin-Goleniow airport not too far away either. There are excellent train and bus services plying between the three cities.
Sopot experiences a temperate climate. Temperatures range from 23°C in the mild and wet summers to around –3°C in the moderate winters. July and August are the hottest months, while the weather is cooler between November and February.
There are approximately 40,000 inhabitants in Sopot. Tourists can also visit the famous Puck sea resort, located nearby.
