Szczecin: Attractions and more...

The Pioneer cinema of the city is the oldest working cinema in the world and is listed in the Guinness Book of World Records. Also, equally famous is the Long Park, which is over 10 km long and is the longest park in Poland.

Take a stroll through the Emerald Lake, or take a cruise of the harbour on the Odra Queen and Peene Queen ships moored on the waterfront. The Pomeranian Dukes’ Castle is a cultural heritage site that is worth visiting while staying in Szczecin.

The National Museum offers information pertaining to the Vikings that occupied the city at the turn of the century. The largest church in Szczecin, the Cathedral, will leave you mystified. Also visit the Szczecin Landscape Park with its natural reserves. The park also houses Beech Wood, a large forest area made entirely out of beech trees, oaks, and pines. The quaint little villages within the woods make for good interaction with Polish natives.
