Warsaw is a city located in Poland, Europe. It is known as the largest city in Poland and was first settled in 1300 by the Polish Prince. It is also the capital of Poland.

The total area of this place is 199.6 square kilometers. The elevation is about 328 feet above sea level.

The total population according to the 2000 US Census showed the town population as 1,672,400 people. In 2009 the population reached 1,709,781.

The climate of this place is continental humid. The winters are cold and the summers are hot. The place receives about 19.7 inches of rainfall and snowfall is for about 50 to 64 days every year. The measurable precipitation is calculated for 159 numbers of days.  The hottest month in the year is July with temperatures rising up to 64 degrees Fahrenheit. January being the coldest, the temperatures drop to as low as 28 degrees Fahrenheit.

An event like Wianki which is Polish for wreaths is an annual festival.
