This place is the reason why Poland has so many talented computer programmers in the country (and hackers too). The Warsaw University of Technology is one of the leading institutes of technology in Central Europe with over 2,000 professors and 31,000 students per year.
The university dates back to 1826, when engineering education first began its roots. The college has an impressive history, having worked underground during the World War II years. During this time, Warsaw tech students developed future plans to reconstruct the city and was back to full operation by 1945.
Today, those who graduated Warsaw Tech usually go on to become some of the country’s top engineers. The University is open on Plac Politechniki in Warsaw and is open Monday through Saturday from 9:00am to 6:00pm. For a guided tour of the campus, contact +48 22 234 72 11.
