The Warsaw University is considered as the largest university of Poland.
Times Higher Education Supplement has ranked it as second-best Polish university on the list of top 500 universities of the world in 2006. The campus of the university is home to some of the famous historic buildings including the Kazimierzowski Palace, the Old Library, Auditorium Maximum and the Main School.
