The Panorama Raclawicka (or Raclawice Panorama) is a 140 meter-long monumental panoramic painting that depicts General Tadeusz Kosczko’s victory over Russian forces in 1794 at the Battle of Raclawice. Taking over nine months to complete, the panorama stands in a circular fashion. When the viewer stands in the center, the art presents different scenes at various viewing angles. Notable visitors include Pope John Paul II, Beatrix, the Wueen of the Netherlands and Polish Nobel Prize winner Czeslaw Milosz.
Located on ul. Purkyniego, admission is 22 zloty for adults and 16 zloty for children and is open from 9:00am to 5:00pm daily. For more information, contact +48 71 344 23 44.
