The Water Tower
Considered an architectural masterpiece, Wroclaw’s Water Tower on Sudecka Street is a giant brick construction modeled off a medieval castle and famously served as a command point during World War II. Even though the surrounding areas suffered colossal devastation, the tower remained intact. Designed by Wroclaw architect Karl Klimm and built between 1903 and 1904, it is approximately 63 meters high and was used to supply water to south Wroclaw residents and was also used to house city employees.
