This Neo-Romanesque church is located in the heart of Zakopane, on ul. Krupowki and is hard not to miss.  Built in the 19th century, the church dates back to 1851 and has charming carved wooden decorations and pews inside, as well as the Stations of the Cross painted on glass.  There’s also a great mix of local folk art, pseudo-Baroque and Art Deco styles inside.  Famed Zakopane artist Stanislaw Witkiewicz’s Holy Mother of the Rosay chapel, as well as the St. John the Baptist chapel can both be found inside.

The church is open daily from 9:30am to 5:30pm.  Guided tours are available.  For more information, contact +48 18 201 42 47.
