There are guided tours of historical Roman settlement ruins in Cerro da Villa. The harbor was once the hub of commercial and trading activities. This is a one day tour and starts at 0800 hours and finishes at 1930 hours. One can also visit the Roman Museum in Loule exhibiting the Roman artifacts. On this tour, one can explore Vila Adentro, which is the oldest part of the city. There are some significant monuments like the Se Cathedral.
