On the southern side, it has been bordered by Sesimbra. It should be noted that Almada is coastal municipality; which goes on to border with Tagus River and Atlantic Ocean. Cacilhas is main port. As such, there are ferry-boat connections with Portuguese capital. Pragal can be described as a parish with Christ King Monument.
Almada municipality is inclusive of 2 cities: Costa da Caparica. This city’s coastal part goes on to offer panoramic views and sandy beaches. It served a ‘foral’ in the year 1190; that too, from ‘Dom Sancho’.
