Tourist Guide Amadora
Amadora lies in Lisbon Metropolitan Area’s north-western part.
With total area of 23.77 sq. Km, Amadora is the most populous municipality all over Portugal. It’s better known as Lisbon’s satellite city. As stated, the area isn’t much; but population density is too much.
Amadora enjoys the pride of being the main residential suburb with regards to Lisbon. It’s also home of a huge community of immigrants from Africa; majority of them being from Cape Verde and Angola.
Every year ‘Amadora International Comics Festival’ is being organized by the city of Amadora.
The flag of Amadora is a conventional gyronny of green color over white. It’s inclusive of a five-towered mural crown, along with a scroll which reads ‘CIDADE DA AMADORA’. Shield is of green color; with silver windstock and yellowish ‘airplane propeller’.
