Museum Medina
Museum Medina and Pius XII Museum share the same building. Collection goes on to comprise of 83 ‘oil paintings’, 21 drawings by painter ‘Henrique Medina’; hence the name. There happen to be several portraits and landscapes which were done by Medina. Medina was taken birth in Porto. It was here that he obtained graduation in art. The studies were also conducted in Rome, London, and Paris.
Image Museum
Image Museum’s collection can be described as being one amongst the biggest and most significant all over Portugal. The task executed by it includes holding of images, by both, modern and classic photographers, and also illustrates a broad range of ‘subject matter’, Braga’s historic photos, in particular. Image Museum got opened in the year 1999 on 15th of April. It lies close to ‘Arco da Porta Nova’; inside a construction from nineteenth century.
