Reviews Carcavelos
Carcavelos is a parish situated in Cascals, 12 km to the west of Lisbon. Initially famous for its wine, Carcavelos is now a popular paradise amongst young surfers for its long stretch of sandy beach during the summer season. One can visit this city especially on Thursdays when there is a huge market that specializes in good quality cheap clothing and sprawls between the town center and the train station. Other worth visiting places includes the Marques de Pombal, the exquisite 18th century palace, the Bugio lighthouse and many other places.
